Synopsis

"They learn and grow with their students,
And stick by them through life's ups and downs."

Top business achiever Kar Tsai Choi (Bobby Au Yeung) is suddenly appointed the headmaster of a low-ranked middle school founded by his boss some years ago. Choi not only has to face problems arising from the discruptive students and the dreadful reputation of the school, but also has to tackle the challenges from the teachers who are far more experienced than him. But Choi is not content to sit and grumble. Instead, he is struggling to find a way to lead the school out of financial crisis.

Chio's strategy is to first cut expenditure and then to increase income. Teacher staff Tsang Ching Leung (Michael Tao) and Wong Yeuk Sze (Kenix Kwok) are the first two to be sacked. Leung used to be a civil servant and decised to go into teaching thinking that it would give hime an easy life. Unlike Leung, Sze has a very strong commitment to education.

Choi, Leung and Sze have different views on school matters, which pushes them into constant conflicts. But along the way they have learnt to rely on each other and two men have both fallen for Sze. Caretaker Kar Wah Biu (Paul Chun) has also made a crucial contribution to the development of their relationship. Biu was at sea for the first half of his life. Being a sailor has broadened his mind and enriched his experience and knowledge. This has made him exceptionally popular at school. Even Choi, Leung and Sze, who are caught in a love triangle, turn to him for advice.

With their best efforts, all members of school have become united as never before. In the midst of joy and excitement, rumour has it that the school is going to close...
