Synopsis

27 year old, Wong Ming Yan, even though she is blind, but she is determined to become an outstanding female writer. Ming Yan story of struggling is like an emotional novel. When she was born, because of the German measles caused her to lose her vision to see, her mother carrying little Ming Yan everywhere to seek medical help. In the end, they were able to run into Doctor Li Wai ?, who will help treat Ming Yan, but will need to perform eye surgery and a series of different kinds of treatment. The time when Ming Yan was young she was been to many hospitals, but in those short years is also the time of her life she has seen the world.

At the age of 8, the doctor finally concluded that she has completely lost her eye sight. Even though she has lost her vision, but Ming Yan will never that ruin her spirit. During high school (middle school), she went overseas to study at the Australian Saint Chinese Blind People's School. When returning to Hong Kong, she became the first girl student to lose their eye sight. At that time, they did not have a computer for the blind people, every day Ming Yan's mother would bring Ming Yan's Braille schoolwork to show the teacher at the school. No matter wind or rain, Ming Yan's mother would take and pick up Ming Yan to go and from school. At school, Ming Yan has fallen over many times, but she is still persisted on one-self to complete her studies.

Two years ago, Ming Yan started to make her own production, by writing a novel "If You Believe In Fairy Tales". This story is based on the experience she went through herself, just like she often says: "Why doesn't the circus troupe;s elephant doesn't loosen its metal chains? Actually, it has enough strength, but when it was younger, it tried loosening the chain, but in the end it injured itself. While growing up, it wouldn't dare to try again..." What Yan Ming really lost was definitely more, but she actually break the chain, looking forward courageously. Because Ming Yan believes that on this world, there are fairy tales, and she could possibly be the main lead of that fairy tale.

This story isn't about a girl who lost her eyesight - its Ming Yan's story, as well as concerned about Ming Yan's mothers' story. This intravenous plot, deeply makes people realise the mother to a daughter's love. The loved ones who obtain one person's encouragement, also makes the person understand that this work still has warmth and hope.
